| As you can see, there is a small bunch of guys here who remind me of a toy I bought for my 2 year old son that makes a lot of noise when shaken. Its a cheap toy, good for a few laughs, but nothing of real value or quality. I bought it at Wal-Mart for $2. For the real topic at hand of which you inquire about, all I can really say with pure objectiveness is to go with what makes you comfortable. You will benefit from it in the long run. There has been a lot of information posted here about my ECU's; independent dyno results and tons of good feedback on it. Do a little searching for "Ash ECU" or "AshSPEC ECU" and I'm sure you'll find a ton of information. The one thing you should concern yourself with is proven reliability. Both JWT and my programs have passed the test. I have around 250 ECU's out there all working with greeat success and no failures for over a year now. It has stood the test of time and any of the rattletoys out there have long since lost their legs to stand on. To them, its just entertainment to razz me - I stop taking that stuff personally and simply lay out the facts and the speculation goes out the window. The fact is, although marginal, my programs do make more power over JWT's. My programs also have functional safety mapping to handle when a problem is detected. JWT circumvented this feature of the ECU. My ECU is $300, JWT's is 699/550 (depending on where you get it). Reprogramming for future mods is $50 for my ECU, it is $100 from JWT. Let me know if there is anything you would like to know about my ECUs (email to me about it) and I'll be happy to elaborate. I'm sorry you had to go through so much noise to get something to help you make your decision.
